The first appearance of the GOTG was in an obscure title in 1969. The lineup bears no relevance to the MCU movie team, but inspired the series of movies.

Daredevil vs Sub-Mariner;

This is the first issue featuring that new look, and doubles with a fight against Sub-Mariner.

Altered to his now-normal green skin to make his panels stand out more, Hulk #2 is a classic Marvel Silver Age comic books key issue. It's a pretty tough book to find in higher grade.

1st in solo Iron Man comic books series

Weirdly, Iron Man and Sub-Mariner #1 (see below) was published just before this #1 Iron Man comic book. This series eventually led to the introduction of Thanos (see below) amongst others.
