Most Expensive Ant Man Comics

Comics featuring the smallest hero in the Marvel Universe has recorded some big prices over the years.

Hank Pym, aka The Man in the Ant Hill, first appeared in Tales to Astonish #27Hank Pym, aka The Man in the Ant Hill, first appeared in Tales to Astonish #27

While Hank Pym's first appearance in Tales to Astonish #27 is considered the true first Ant-Man comic, he wasn't a costumed hero immediately.

Tales to Astonish was still a post-Comics Code Authority horror, suspense and monster type series.

The big explosion caused by Fantastic Four #1, the comic which launched The Marvel Age of Comics, led Marvel to pivot rapidly into superhero comics.

Tales to Astonish #35 saw the superhero relaunch of the title, with Ant-Man in costume for the first time.

He was also a founder member of the Avengers.
