Everyman tried to start a revolution by assassinating Captain America.

He later is reinvented as Zeitgeist by Faustus, and begins assassinating South American heroes.

Human Torch returns; "Cap" appearance
1st Grand Director

One of the most underrated key issues of the late Golden Age, the return of Human Torch also features Cap in the story.

This Captain America is not the one frozen in ice who was resurrected in Avengers #4.

This is a complicated continuity issue which was later "fixed" by writers claiming that Cap in this story was an imposter, or "Bad Cap".

1st King Cobra

Cobra was bitten by a radioactive snake while experimenting with anti-venom, which granted him super-powers.

He teamed up with various Captain America villains over the years, including Mister Hyde and Jester.

First Kingpin

They don't get much bigger than Kingpin, and that's not just his chest size. A long-time enemy of Spider-Man and later, Captain America.

The villain in Into the Spider-Verse is also a big part of the MCU as a foil to the Punisher, and probably has more to give.

1st Machinesmith (Starr Saxon)

Starr Saxon, aka Machinesmith, was a gay super-villain who discovered an abandoned Doombot. Learning robotics, he turned to evil and fought Cap, Daredevil and the X-Men over the years.

This classic Silver Age Captain America comic book cover shows Cap facing the Hulk.

Madame Hydra was trained by Kraken to become a super-villain. Cap prevented her from poisoning the water supply of New York City. She later teamed up with Viper (see below).

Mother Night was part of a double act with her brother. They hypnotized people and forced them to commit crimes on their behalf.

She is hired by Red Skull to be a nanny to his daughter, who she trains to become the super-villain Sin (see below).

1st Nightshade

Nightshade is Tilda Johnson, who learned how to turn people into obedient werewolf-type creatures.

She later learned how to change men into women.

1st Porcupine

Porcupine was one of the first costumed criminals. Working as a government weapons designer, he got disillusioned and turned to crime using his power suit to disguise himself and gain powers.

He later teamed up with other Captain America villains, including Batroc.

The Red Guardian has appeared in the MCU in combination with Black Widow.

His history is complicated. He is the husband of Black Widow, though she was told by the KGB that he died. In secret, they were training him to become the Soviet equivalent of Cap. He switched sides several times over the years.

Madame Hydra assassinated the original Viper and then reformed the Serpent Squad.

Daughter of Red Skull and raised by Mother Night, Sin runs the Sisters of Sin. She was imprisoned by S.H.I.E.L.D. before being rescued by Crossbones.

She and Crossbones have a relationship and fight Captain America together.
