If you're a fan of He-Man and She-Ra (or Skeletor), then you probably have some Masters of the Universe figures and playsets.

He-Man comic books

The early 1980s saw DC Comics publish several comic books featuring He-Man and the crew.

The first appearance of Masters of the Universe in comics was in the team-up series, DC Comics Presents #47, where Superman helps He-Man to fight Skeletor.

DC also produced a three-issue mini-series, and several other comics based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Marvel then picked up the licence. There are also lots of similar products along the lines of hardback Christmas-style annuals and coloring books.
